Swim Family,

For those of you who registered your kids in our swimming lessons (MW morning or TTH evening) we will not be able to start teaching this week. While we knew this was a strong possibility, we were also outweighing the options for you. This is not the most ideal situation, and we are sorry for it. We miss your kids and can’t wait for them to get back in the pool.

Here are the options available to you and your family regarding lessons:

1) Move the registration to the May lessons, same time as you registered for April. This option is best if you had no set plans for May and can make the session work in your schedule.

2) Request a refund for the April session. We understand that life has happened and possibly May doesn’t work for you. It’s ok! We will gladly refund your lesson payment via check.

3) Request a credit to your account. If you paid $50 for the lesson, we can place that amount on your account for a summer lesson. This option would work for those of you who can’t make the April or May session work but do not wish a refund.

For any of the above options, please know we have all your payment information on file with our software system. If we have any questions, we may reach out to you to verify. Please be patient as we request the refund, create the check, have it signed by our board and mailed to you. We will work through these as quickly as possible.

To request any of the above options, please email us at:
Include your child's name.

Swim Family,

It is with a heavy heart that I send you this message. We are closing the Molalla Aquatic Center indefinitely, as of Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

This was not a decision that was reached lightly or without reservation. We know it will affect many of our customers and we regret that. However, as an organization whose top priority is health and safety, we feel it is our duty to respect the situation around us and refrain from promoting close contact and groups of more than 25 people.

So many of you have families who may be impacted by this illness and we would be forever sorry if we unknowingly spread it. We have maintained best practices with regard to sanitation and disinfection, but we cannot know what people are carrying into our facility.

All passes will be put on hold. If you recently purchased a pass and would like to request a refund, please do so. You will not be charged for time not used.

Saturday swimming lesson families will receive a credit for the last class they will miss this weekend.

Birthday parties and rentals are being either refunded or rescheduled. We are working with our customers to meet their needs the best we can.

We are watching the situation and taking guidance from county, state and federal mandates and regulations. We do not wish to disclose a re-open date until we have further data and information. When it is safe to open, we will.

In the meantime, please reach out to our Board of Directors or our Aquatic Director for specific questions or concerns. We are doing the best we can with the information and data at hand. We appreciate your support and patience through this unique time.
