Molalla Aquatic District

MAD Vision Statement:   To have a strong community through recreation, safety and pride.


MAD Mission: To operate the Molalla Aquatic Center, at the highest level of excellence, with a commitment to provide affordable and accessible recreational, fitness, competition, and educational services for people of all ages, abilities, and cultures. ​

2023 Survey

The Molalla Aquatic District operates the pool on a year-round basis. It is an 8 lane, 25 yard pool and heated to 83-84 degrees.  We offer Lap Swim, Family Swim, Water Fitness, Private Swim Lessons and Tot Time.  


The Molalla Aquatic District boundaries align with the Molalla River School District.  If you live within the school district boundaries, then you are also a resident of our district.

2020 Outstanding Special District Service Award

Melissa Georgesen, Molalla Aquatic District received the "Outstanding Special District Service Award: Manager" from the Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO).


This SDAO award category recognizes innovative projects and programs, outstanding safety, public information, public involvement in a district decision making process, and outstanding achievement.

**Lap Lane changes**: When making reservations for Lap Swim please be aware that we have changed our lane numbers. Lane 8 is now closest to the bleachers and Lane 1 has the stairs next to the windows.
