Thank you for an awesome Pumpkin Plop!

Thank you to Friends of the Molalla Pool and our Board Directors for helping with our table downtown!  We hope all of you had a safe and fun Halloween. Despite the rain, we saw a good turn out! 


Pictured is MAD Board President, Rick Gano and FOMP Board of Directors Geri Monroe & Laurie Donald. All 3 of these swimmers use the pool daily and support our mission and vision by helping at our events. THANK YOU!

Thank you for an awesome Pumpkin Plop!

 We had 150 people register for our event. A special thank you to Friends of Molalla Pool for helping in the classroom and bringing snacks! A huge thank you to Willamette Valley Melons for donating the pumpkins to send home with the swimmers!  

FOMP Volunteers

So many ways to help!

  • Fundraisers. We need people to plan and carry out fundraisers large and small to support the pool. Grant writers or those interested in learning are also welcome!
  • Events. Help FOMP have a presence at local events - plan, staff, set-up, organize, etc.
  • Volunteer & Project coordination. As FOMP ramps up with activities - especially once the pool is opened we will need people to take ownership of one or more projects and programs. Also, we'll need someone (or a small team) to help enlist, encourage, communicate with & recognize volunteers.
  • Behind the scenes projects. FOMP could use help with book-keeping, a phone tree, mailing lists, marketing content, etc.
  • ???? Other ideas and talents? Let us know!

Molalla pool needs YOU!

Friends of Molalla Pool is made up entirely of volunteers.  There are so many ways you can help.  If you can spare any time, have special talents or access to resources, we would love to hear from you!  To learn more, send us an email, message us via Facebook, talk with our volunteers at an event, or reach out to a board member.
